Lan Chau Island, Nghe An


Located right next to Cua Lo Beach, Lan Chau Island is also called “Ru Coc” the by local residents because of it is in the shape of a huge toad stretching out to the sea. The unique location of Lan Chau Island did separate Cua Lo beach into two areas. When the tide comes in, the whole island looks as if it sunk into the sea. However, at low tide, the west of the Island is connected with the mainland to form a peninsula while the east of the island has exhilarating cliffs stretching over the sea.
