1. Hon Mong Tay – Nail Island
Considered a Robinson's island of Kien Giang Province, Nail Island is ideal for camping activities, exploring the desert island and admiring the beautiful natural scenery. Coming to the island, in front of your eyes is the crystal-clear emerald sea water reflecting green coconut trees lines, natural interesting stones, white sand beaches bringing distinct beauty.
You can also see many Mong Tay tree - henna trees (also known as hina, the Egyptian privet, the mignonette tree), the reason for the island have special names. You will hear only the sound of the waves, breeze instead of noise of town. Those who come here would be overwhelmed by the feeling of immersing in the immense space of the earth and sky.
2. Binh Lap Peninsula
At one time many people talked about a pristine beach which is lesser known at Cam Ranh Bay. At that time, Binh Lap was a very strange name on the tourist map of Vietnam. However, after the only road linking the unique peninsula and the provincial road was completed, the move became easier, many tourism services opened, Binh Lap has been much loved and considered Vietnam’s Maldives.
Arriving in Binh Lap, everyone is amazed at nature's marvels. Separate from the outside, it is still pristine like you just step into another world. Soak up the quiet space with calm blue sea, white sand beach, gentle fishermen, all will give you a really peaceful trip.
3. Cu Lao Cau – Cau Island
Cau Island is one of the two MPAs of Binh Thuan Province, about 100 kilometers from Phan Thiet. Seen from the mainland, Cau Island is magnificent like a "stone kingdom" with strange shapes. It is attractive with clear crystal water and therefore, this is regarded as a diving paradise.
The island is under the management of border guards, so if you want to stay overnight on the island you need permission of border guards on the island. However, the island does not have any accommodation service, so if you want to stay, you need to bring your own tents, sleeping bags or ask for permission to stay at the border guard station. The soldiers here are quite friendly and always help people. Normally people go to the island in the morning and enjoy it till afternoon, then return to the mainland.

4. Cu Lao Mai Nha – Roof Island
Roof Island belongs to An Hai commune, Tuy An district, Phu Yen Province. As a small island situated between the sea, it’s more than 4km from O Loan Lagoon. More than 20 years ago, the island was inhabited but the island is still very unfamiliar to many people, even with the locals because of difficult geography condition. It is about 1.2 km², surrounded by high mountains, with caves and pristine beaches. Front beach is the island is a white smooth sand area, covered with corals and algae, blue sea, suitable for bathing while camping.
There’s no electricity and tourist services on the Roof Island. There are only two fresh water wells, a temple which worships the deity of the island. So visitors to the island need to bring food and drink, if you want to spend the night here, you must bring tents, blankets for sleeping.
5. Hon Ong – Whale Island
Hon Ong, also known as Whale Island is a small island located in Van Phong Bay, Van Ninh district, Khanh Hoa province, nearly 100km from Nha Trang.
Hon Ong is very different from other tourist islands that there’s no inhabitant living on the island. There’s only a resort named Whale Island Resort, and all services on the island are provided by this resort. Environmental protection issues are also respected in the Hon Ong (no fishing or bird hunting). So if you're looking forward to a place where you can hang out , a crowded or noisy bars at night, the Hon Ong is totally inappropriate.
Hon Ong is only suitable for those who love the sea, explore unspoiled, natural, quiet and peaceful places, people who want to temporarily away from the hustle and bustle of life in urban areas, the newly married couples want to enjoy the sweet honeymoon together. Most foreigners are rated 9 or 10 points for Hon Ong in term of landscape beauty and location. Many visitors confirmed that this is the beach paradise where they are arriving.
6. Hon Nua – Nua Island
Hon Nua is located at the foot of Ca Pass, adjacent areas between Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa, with peaks of 105 m above sea level. If you go with a big group to Nua Island, you should stay a night campfire, eat seafood, enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the sea. The island has a lighthouse and a tent of border guards. Visitors often go visit the island in the daytime only. However, you can stay overnight on the island without asking permission.
Following the footsteps of the guard, you will be guided to visit the lighthouse of Hon Nua and enjoy the panoramic view over the blue sea around the island. They are also friendly hostsbecause visitor to the island is not so many. This is interesting to visit and take photos as it’s the boundary markers of Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa.
Situated in the North Hon Nua are high steep cliffs. Giant cliffs with surface interlaced with horizontal and vertical cuts will bring you a mysterious feeling. Climbing as high as you will discover many beautiful sea views.
