Among the handicrafts items sold in shops in Hoi An, the shimmering colourful lanterns are the most impressive with tourists. 2. Silk / clothing
Hoi An silk is specially light and soft. From this material, garment stores have launched a variety of products such as clothing, bags, towels ... with many subtle beautiful designs and textures. In addition to the ready-made items, you can also have your clothes tailored made and get it after just one day. Price for a silk scarf is about 150,000 VND (6USD) in average, and clothes can be from a million VND (40 USD) to tens of million VND (400USD) depending on type.
3. Phuoc Kieu Statue
There is a famous village specializing in bronze statue producing named Phuoc Kieu village in Hoi An (located in Dien Phuong commune, Dien Ban Town, Quang Nam Province). Besides sightseeing, you can buy yourself small bronze statues as souvenirs. Each one costs about 130.000-350.000 VND (5 – 15 USD) per item depending on size. You can also buy some gongs, bells, animal statues, and drums in small. Many shops in the centre of Hoi An also sell bronze statues, but for the best price, you should buy at the factory.

4. Thanh Ha pottery
Thanh Ha Pottery Village is located on the bank of Thu Bon River, Thanh Ha ward, Hoi An city, about 2km to the west of the old town.
In the 16th – 17th century, Thanh Ha was a very prosperous village, famous for ceramic and terracotta items, which were exchanged and wholesale throughout the central provinces of Vietnam. Main products in Thanh Ha are the utensils serving daily life activities, such as cups, bowls, jars, vases, bowls,... with many different styles, beautiful colours and especially they are lighter than the same products of other localities.
In addition to the purchase of ceramic village, tourists are instructed to try their hands in making some products in traditional way.
Hoi An is home to a large force of painters, photographers who are famous for the beautiful work. Each painting’s price can be from a few million to tens of millions VND. To buy painting as souvenirs as well as admire the artwork you can visit.
Cards are not sold in the luxury stores but focus mainly on the sidewalk on the streets as well as in the night market of Hoi An. It is the item that many tourists love thanks to the sophisticated and subtle appearance. It's special when each card is opened, a paper model will emerge lively. 7. Green bean cake
Hoi An green bean cake is a special kind of pastry with lard fried and salty taste. Dried green bean cake is made in swastika shape, dried very thoroughly and carefully packaged, and hence it can be stored in a long time. Many traditional bakeries retain different techniques and secrets to create their unique flavour. Cake is made mostly from chickpeas, which is very good for health.
There are two kinds of green bean cake: dry and wet cake. Both cakes are printed in the mould, thin circular, and compact in your palm. Dried cake is crispy while wet green bean cake is soft.
